Cosmetic bonding is a method designed to transform crooked, discoloured, stained, chipped, broken, or gapped teeth using tooth-coloured composite resin. The treatment can reduce gaps, make your teeth appear straighter and address minor imperfections in your smile, usually in a single, short appointment.
The Superior Smiles team can help you to select the shade of the composite resin. They will then lightly roughen or etch the tooth surface to generate an optimal bonding texture. The composite mixture is applied and exposed to a special ultraviolet light which cements it in place. Following this, the tooth is polished and sculpted to match the colour, shape, and sheen of your tooth and provide an aesthetically pleasing look.
In most cases, the cosmetic bonding procedure is carried out in one session and does not require an anaesthetic. Cosmetic bonding can be utilised as a stand-alone treatment or as part of an extensive smile regeneration process.
