Adult orthodontics

Many people wish their teeth could be straighter, but have been put off by the cost, length of treatment or the thought of having to wear unsightly metal braces. If you have crowded or crooked teeth, orthodontic treatment will not only improve the appearance of your smile but also help you maintain good oral hygiene.

We offer several short-term orthodontic treatment options to suit your budget and lifestyle at an affordable price. Our teeth straightening treatments won't interfere with your lifestyle and the best thing is no one need even know you're wearing a brace!

Cosmetic dentistry

Did you know that one in four of us in the UK are unhappy with our smile? With advances in modern dentistry, its no longer just a case of filling and taking out teeth.

If your teeth are stained, discoloured, worn, chipped, broken, misaligned, misshapen, or have gaps between them, modern cosmetic dentistry can give you a better smile. A “smile makeover” improves the appearance of your smile through one or more cosmetic dentistry procedures. Cosmetic dentists work with you to develop a treatment plan. Below you’ll find some information that can help you learn more about the various types of cosmetic dental procedures available.

Dental implants & dentures

Implants are a simple and attractive method to fill gaps and to replace missing teeth and can be used for a wide range of treatment.

A small but strong post is used in place of a missing tooth root and a ceramic tooth is then placed on top of this. One implant can replace a single missing tooth, two or four implants can secure a denture, or multiple implants can be used to replace all the teeth in the mouth.

If you have a few or all of your teeth missing, one solution is to have a denture. A denture is made from hard-wearing material that mimics the look of teeth and gums to give you mouth a natural appearance. Your denture will be made to fit snugly on your gums and you will be able to remove it for cleaning. Modern dentures look very natural, are comfortable and hard-wearing.

Preventative care

Prevention is better than cure, which is why our highly qualified team of dental hygienists develop the best possible Care Plan for each and every one of our patients.

Preventive dentistry is the practice of caring for your teeth to keep them healthy. This helps to avoid cavities, gum disease, enamel wear, and more.

There are many forms of preventive dentistry, such as daily brushing and dental cleanings. To maintain optimal oral health, we recommend visiting the dentist at regular intervals based on your oral health. Preventative care is designed to ensure that teeth are clean, strong, and white. Importantly, we believe children should be taught proper oral hygiene at an early age.

General dentistry

Dentistry involves the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of conditions, disorders and diseases affecting the teeth, gums and maxillofacial (associated with the jaw and face) region of the body. General dentistry relates to the general maintenance of oral hygiene and tooth health for you and your family.

Ideally, we believe the best dentistry is preventative. Typically we recommend that you visit your dentist regularly – at least once every six or twelve months – to ensure proper oral hygiene and functionality. Regular checkups and oral health maintenance prevent the development of serious dental problems that can require costly treatment. If you remain vigilant and visit your dentist regularly, you can enjoy good dental health.
